VILLA SAINT TROPEZ
A Family Chalet with Panoramic Views
At the very beginning of the company’s journey, Mr. Florentin had the pleasure of collaborating with a distinguished healthcare professional.
The first project was to design a welcoming and functional reception area in his professional offices. The success of this initial collaboration marked the start of a long-standing relationship built on trust and creativity.
This client, a doctor by profession yet a builder at heart and an architect in spirit, is a true visionary—technically meticulous, with a refined sense of aesthetics and boundless creativity. Working with him is always a delight, as every project presents exciting challenges.
This time, he turned to Mr. Florentin for a deeply personal endeavor: designing the interiors of a three-level chalet with an elevator, which he had drawn up himself.
Nestled in a renowned family ski resort, just two hours from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the chalet enjoys an exceptional location.
The aim was to reserve the top floor, with its breathtaking panoramic views, as a warm and inviting family living space.
At its heart sits a central fireplace, around which a cosy lounge area brings everyone together.
A spacious contemporary kitchen, built into the sloping roofline, pairs matte grey finishes with thermo-treated larch wood, creating a refined contrast. An additional storage area makes family breakfasts convenient and efficient.
The dining table, illuminated by elegant pendant lighting, opens onto a panoramic terrace offering stunning mountain views as the immediate backdrop.
Facing the elevator, a backlit storage console showcases designer objects. Behind it, a comfortable lounge area features a large reclining sofa, stylish armchairs, a sleek coffee table, and a soft area rug, all oriented toward a giant screen for cosy, shared evenings.
The guiding principle of the project was to create a space where parents and children could gather together without feeling crowded, each finding their own corner of comfort, while enjoying the ever-changing spectacle of the ski resort and the majestic snow-capped peaks—a scene as breathtaking by night as it is by day.
