APARTMENT SAINT TROPEZ

Renovation of a waterfront apartment.

Adding a bedroom to create a three-room apartment instead of a two-room apartment was the challenge our Breton clients set us when they bought their small 60m² pied-à-terre in Saint Tropez. The building was ideally located on the waterfront at the entrance to the village. The apartment's sea view therefore needed to be highlighted.

The aim was to optimize the space as much as possible by, for example, removing the closed kitchen and integrating it into the living area in order to create a second bedroom with a bay window. This ensured that every room had a sea view! Many design tricks were necessary to provide sufficient storage and functionality in each room: a bridge-style dressing room in the small bedroom with a curved section concealing the technical column, a small fold-down desk area in the “large” bedroom for teleworking, a small glass roof in the entrance hall to increase the impression of space, etc.  The furniture and doors, made of natural-colored oak and white lacquered MDF, created a very warm overall atmosphere. A few decorative touches, such as the Zeilig kitchen backsplash and the marble-effect bathroom, reinforced the spirit of a design with touches of elegance.   

A transformation project that completely satisfied our clients, since the following year we carried out a similar project for them just a few hundred meters away!
