VILLA SAINT TROPEZ

A Provençal house with a touch of chic!

For our first Brazilian clients, the challenge was considerable: renovating their newly purchased villa in the Beauvallon parks while preserving the Provençal spirit of the house, but adding a touch of chic and comfort.

For this project, carried out in two phases (interior then exterior), we established a wonderful collaborative relationship with our clients in terms of design: they listened to our advice but also offered their own ideas, which proved to be excellent. Their strong involvement in the final decoration of the house and exterior further enhanced all the renovation work we carried out for them.

The design of the bathrooms in polished concrete and oak adds a very trendy touch while respecting the spirit of Provence with its lime plaster. The kitchen, designed in a traditional style with moldings, cornices, pilasters, and solid wood paneling, has been opened up to the living room with a large bar serving as a divider to bring more conviviality and depth to the living space. The staircase leading to the upper floor, which has been turned around to optimize the dining room space, has been fitted with a custom-made wine cellar cabinet underneath. A large dining room cabinet has been used to conceal the access to the garage from the living room with a hidden door. The old exterior joinery has all been replaced with steel joinery, which is more elegant thanks to its slimmer profiles.

Outside, the transformation of the pool area with the creation of terraced planters, a central staircase, and the complete renovation of the pool has improved its connection and integration with the terrace area. The beige-colored stone from France used for all the floors and parking lot paving gave it a very “South of France” feel.   Similarly, the pergolas and arbors built on the terraces respect the tradition of Provence in terms of their materials, lines, and colors. The landscaped garden, created in collaboration with our partner Espace Vert, added the finishing decorative touch to the exterior.
