VILLA RAYOL CANADEL

We had already worked on the renovation of this living space, years ago, for these same customers.

​

The classic style was no longer relevant to them, so they wanted to wipe the slate clean and transform the space, while making it more dynamic.

​

As the house, bathed in light, is on the banks of the Giscle, we wanted to create a bright, invigorating and contemporary marine atmosphere.

​

To achieve this, we combined the light taupe-ash oak of the furniture with aquamarine walls and fabrics; created a glass balustrade, a redesigned bookcase/office unit with simple lines, and a play of mirrors in strategic places; lowered backlit ceilings to zone the living spaces; and painted the rest of the walls white.

The natural, flowing material effects of the curtains, sofa and carpet soften the dynamic colors of the walls.

This harmonious, invigorating marriage is enhanced by the choice of colorful paintings selected by the customer.

This spectacular metamorphosis has created a peaceful, serene atmosphere.

Light and color flow and blend into the Mediterranean garden, with the jade pool and river below.
